Finance Transformation Specialist
  
Reporting to Planning & Performance Manager, supporting wider finance team and business to transform finance function and capability.
  
Project 1:  Finance Controls, Governance & Audit Readiness (Approx. 70%). 

• Reviewing existing data, processes and controls to ensure they remain fit for purpose and appropriately designed to support the business's accelerating growth.
• Developing accounting methodology to deliver report-ready information aligned with the latest accounting standards. This includes identifying areas requiring adjustment and implementing those changes in a manner that maintains operational efficiency.

Project 2: Financial Reporting & Business Intelligence (Approx. 30%)

• Developing financial reporting and data analytics capabilities to deliver reliable, scalable, and streamlined outputs across internal management, board, and external reporting requirements.

What you bring:

• Fully Qualified Chartered Accountant, CPA or CIMA
• 2 years' experience in financial control, finance transformation, or process improvement roles in Small, medium or large companies.
• Experience designing and documenting financial processes, policies, and internal controls.
• Experience implementing accounting policies and ensuring compliance with accounting standards, with experience of IFRS or AASB preferred.
• Experience preparing businesses for external audit, financial due diligence, lender reviews, or investments/acquisition.
• Project management skills, including planning, execution, stakeholder management, and delivery.
