Your New Role
Reporting directly to the Australian Finance Head, and leading a junior FBP, you will provide the team lead role in transforming the management accounting function into a business partnering function.  From transactional focused to value add, many roadblocks have already been removed, and the pathway forward is clear for you to build the future of finance business partnering.  Harnessing AI, PowerBI, and other technologies, you'll absolutely take the company on the journey to real time analysis and decision support.  With multiple projects going concurrently, you'll drive process improvement in operations, and provide business cases for future bottom line improvement. You'll create self service reports, dynamic dashboards, and add your expert commentary along the way.  Key contacts will including the corporate accounting team, local accounting team, executives, operations, and standing in for your executive when they are away.

Your Profile
You are a confident numbers person, passionate about continuous improvement, applying a commercial lens and common sense approach to business issues.  Deep dives into the data to unlock insights is your forte, and designing useful, beautiful reports in PowerBI is what you are known for among your team.  You are passionate about data analytics, and can upskill others that may not have your technical skills & abilities, particularly those non-finance leaders focused on operations.  You thrive in a role where there is a balance of core deliverables and scope for 'what if' or scenario type questions to be explored and answered.  When people look at the numbers and say 'so what?', you can tell them what, and why, and where, and how it matters to the business.  Your ability to tell a story, engage with all level of stakeholders confidently, and influence change set you apart as a true finance business partner.
