A well-established engineering manufacturer in Banbury is hiring a permanent TIG Welder to join their fabrication team. The work is hands-on and skilled, welding stainless steel components to a consistent quality standard, with an early finish on Fridays.
What you will do

• TIG weld stainless steel components to specification, maintaining high-quality finishes throughout
• Carry out visual inspections of your own work, identifying and addressing any defects before they progress
• Work to production output targets as part of a close-knit fabrication team
• Support and mentor less experienced team members as the team grows
• Maintain accurate production records and uphold health and safety standards in the welding area

What you will bring

• Proven TIG welding experience in a production or fabrication environment
• Solid experience welding stainless steel, with a good eye for finish quality
• Strong attention to detail and a consistent approach to quality standards
• Reliable and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Welding certifications are an advantage but not essential - full training is available
• Commutable to Banbury for an on-site role

What is on offer

• £28,000 to £30,000 per annum basic salary
• Overtime available, bringing realistic total earnings to circa £34,000 to £36,000 per annum
• Permanent position with a stable, established manufacturer
• On-site canteen and parking
• Monday to Thursday 7am-4:30pm and Friday 7am-2pm
