What you’ll be doing As a Customer Operations Advisor, you will:
- Use order books to track, expedite, and place supplier orders
- Liaise daily with suppliers to ensure parts are delivered on time
- Assist with goods-in, booking deliveries, and allocating stock correctly
- Provide excellent customer service to engineers working on-site
- Source non-stock parts, checking price, lead time, and delivery
- Support storeroom colleagues, including manual handling of stock (motors, pumps, gas bottles)
What we’re looking for
✔ Confident IT skills (emails, data entry, stock systems)
✔ Strong communication skills in a customer-facing role
✔ Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
✔ Willingness to undertake manual handling tasks
✔ Experience in stores, procurement, or supply chain environments beneficial (but not essential)
Please note: The Sofina Malton site is a food production facility with livestock processing on-site. While you won’t work directly in production areas, you must be comfortable with the environment..
Location: Sofina, Hugden Way, Malton, YO17 9HG
Salary: £13.06 per hour (£27,164.80 per annum)
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5pm (40 hours per week, 30 min break)

ontract: 12 weeks temp-to-perm (permanent offer after successful probation)
Driving Licence: Strongly preferred due to location and off-site training
