Our client is a world-leading engineering company delivering complex solutions and specialist manufacturing programmes across automotive, aerospace, marine, and defence sectors. They are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist Milling to join on a short-term contract basis, supporting the production team with high-precision, complex components.

Key Responsibilities

• Fully machine parts using 3-axis and 5-axis VMCs as a CNC Machinist Milling.
• Ensure the quality and accuracy of machined parts.
• Meet on-time delivery requirements.
• Load offline programs and liaise with production engineers to optimise setups.
• Save all programs and setup sheets after each job.
• Assist shift leaders and engineers with tooling or material requirements.
• Maintain safe operations of machines, tools, and equipment.
• Keep machines and workshop standards clean and organised.

Who We’re Looking For

• Previous experience as a CNC Machinist Milling in a small batch/prototype manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of Matsuura, DMG, or Colchester machines is preferable.
• Working knowledge of Heidenhain and Fanuc controls.
• Experience in Motorsport, Aerospace, or R&D preferred.
• Flexible, proactive, and positive attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good organisational and communication skills.
• Availability for extended hours or weekends if required.

Location: Banbury | Contract Duration: 2–4 weeks | Industry: Motorsport / Automotive / Aerospace Hours of work: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm with 1 hour unpaid for lunch (37.5 hour working week).
