Our client is a progressive and growing boutique accounting and advisory firm located in Sydney CBD. As the firm continues to grow, they are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to join their leadership team and work directly alongside the Directors. This is a genuine opportunity to influence the future direction of the business, with a potential pathway to equity for the right individual.

This is a client-facing leadership role where you will take ownership of a portfolio of complex private clients, providing strategic advice while overseeing the delivery of high-quality compliance services.

You will work closely with a team of experienced professionals and utilise both onshore and offshore resources to ensure exceptional outcomes for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of family businesses, high-net-worth individuals and family groups
• Review complex compliance work including Income Tax Returns, Financial Statements, BAS and GST, Fringe Benefits Tax and SMSF compliance
• Lead tax planning engagements and provide strategic advice around Division 7A, Business structures, Family groups and trusts and tax minimisation strategies
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients
• Delegate, review and mentor team members
• Manage workflow, WIP, budgets and billings
• Support Directors with strategic projects and business development initiatives
• Drive efficiency through technology, automation and AI tools

About You:

• CA or CPA qualified
• Minimum 8 years' Australian public practice experience
• Strong experience managing family businesses and high-net-worth client groups
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills
• Demonstrated ability to review complex compliance work
• Strong commercial acumen and client advisory capability
• A proactive mindset and willingness to embrace technology and innovation
• Leadership, mentoring or team management experience
