A well-established firm is seeking an experienced Senior / Supervisor to join their team. This is a technical and people-focused role, ideal for a strong Business Services Accountant who enjoys mentoring others, reviewing work, and ensuring high-quality delivery across a portfolio.

Working alongside the leadership team, you will take ownership of workflow, team output, and technical excellence across a team of Accountants and Bookkeepers both locally and offshore.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and finalise work to a high standard before Partner/Manager review
• Financial statements, tax returns, tax planning for all entities, including FBT, CGT, Div 7A, CGT concessions, small business concessions, depreciation schedules and compliance work
• Working across a variety of group structures including trusts and SMSF
• Support client managers with accounting and tax related matters 
• Lead, train, and mentor a team of Accountants and Bookkeepers (Australia & offshore) - Reviewing of bookkeeping, providing technical guidance and  feedback
• You will play a pivotal role in ensuring work is completed to a high standard — delivering jobs to a 90–100% completion stage before final review.
• You will use Xero, Xero Practice Manager Class Super, NowInfinity, Karbon and client software such as MYOB and QuickBooks

About You

• Strong technical background in Business Services / Tax Accounting and Australian tax legislation
• Approximately 7 + years working in Business Services and and Australian based accounting firm
• Experience reviewing work and mentoring junior staff, including an offshore team
• Highly organised with strong workflow management skills
• Solutions-focused with a collaborative mindset
• You will be CA/ CPA qualified
