About the Opportunity
Place South Brisbane opened its doors in October 2025 and has quickly grown to a team of eight passionate professionals, with no signs of slowing down.
With more than eight years at Place, Director & Lead Agent Michael Hatzifotis has built a reputation as a leading authority in apartment, development and house sales across Brisbane's inner-city markets, particularly South Brisbane and West End.
The team is preparing for an exciting milestone, with the opening of its permanent office in July 2026 at West Village, right in the heart of West End. Surrounded by vibrant retail, dining and lifestyle amenities, the new office will provide a premium base for the team as they continue to expand their presence throughout Brisbane's inner south.
As they enter our next phase of growth, we're seeking an experienced Office Manager to become the operational backbone of the business. Working closely with Michael and the wider team, you'll lead the systems, people and processes that enable the business to scale while maintaining an exceptional team and client experience.
What you’ll do!
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring an efficient, productive and high-performing environment.
- Manage team administration, onboarding, training and people support, acting as the key point of contact for sales and administration staff.
- Coordinate office meetings, events, community initiatives and team engagement activities that strengthen culture and collaboration.
- Oversee business systems, databases, technology, maintenance and operational resources to ensure the office runs efficiently.
- Manage operational finance responsibilities including invoices, budgets, timesheets, leave approvals and resource allocation.
- Partner with the Director to drive continuous improvement, support recruitment activities and implement processes that enable sustainable business growth.
About You - Minimum 3 years' experience within the real estate industry or extensive management experience in a fast-paced corporate environment.
- A current Real Estate Certificate and valid driver's licence.
- Strong leadership, communication and people management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving ability and confidence managing competing priorities.
- Exceptional customer service skills and commercial acumen.
- Strong organisational, time management and delegation capabilities.
