International FMCG business, with HQ just outside of Ballina. Grow your finance career in a supportive team environment. 

Finance Support:

• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
• Reconcile bank accounts, supplier statements, and general ledger accounts.
• Assist with month-end reporting and financial reconciliations.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Assist with audit preparation and compliance requirements.

Operational Support:

• Coordinate administrative activities across operations and finance.
• Maintain business records, systems and operational documentation.
• Monitor inventory movements and investigate stock variances.
• Assist with purchasing administration and supplier communications.
• Support the implementation of operational procedures and internal controls.

Reporting & Analysis:

• Prepare regular financial and operational reports.
• Analyse business data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Develop reports and dashboards that support decision-making.
• Monitor key business metrics and provide management insights.

Systems & Process Improvement:

• Maintain the accuracy of ERP and finance systems.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows and reduce manual processes.
• Assist with system upgrades, process documentation and continuous improvement projects.
• Support cross-functional projects that improve business performance.

General Business Support:

• Work collaboratively across finance, operations and leadership teams.
• Ensure policies and procedures are consistently followed.
• Assist with special projects as required.
• Provide administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the business.

About You:

We're looking for someone proactive, detail-oriented and enjoys working in a collaborative environment.

You'll ideally have:

• 3+ years' experience in finance, accounting, operations or business administration.
• Experience within FMCG, manufacturing, wholesale or distribution (highly regarded).
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Experience using accounting software and ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A positive attitude with a continuous improvement mindset.
