We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join a supportive and collaborative team in Lismore. This is a role where you'll have the opportunity to influence, coach and partner with leaders across a broad range of people matters while continuing to develop your own HR career.

What you'll be doing:

Every day will look a little different, but you'll spend your time:

• Partnering with managers to provide practical, commercially sound HR advice.
• Supporting recruitment and onboarding to help attract and retain great people.
• Coaching leaders through performance, conduct and employee relations matters.
• Interpreting Awards, legislation and HR policies with confidence.
• Identifying opportunities to improve HR processes and employee experience.
• Building trusted relationships across the organisation as the go-to HR partner.

Who we're looking for:

You are someone who enjoys working alongside leaders rather than behind the scenes. You ask questions, listen well and provide advice that's practical, balanced and solution focused.

You'll ideally have:

• Previous experience in a generalist HR advisory role.
• Strong working knowledge of Australian employment legislation and industrial relations.
• Confidence managing sensitive and complex employee matters.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle competing priorities.
• Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline.
