We're seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join a values-driven organisation based in Lismore. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a hands-on, generalist HR role and enjoys working closely with leaders to drive positive people outcomes.

About the Role
As a trusted advisor, you will partner with managers and leaders across the organisation to provide strategic and operational HR support. You'll play a key role in delivering people initiatives, supporting workforce planning, enhancing employee engagement, and ensuring best-practice people management.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing expert HR advice and coaching to leaders
• Managing employee relations matters, including performance, conduct and workplace investigations
• Supporting recruitment, onboarding and workforce planning activities
• Assisting with organisational change initiatives and projects
• Contributing to policy development and HR process improvements
• Supporting learning and development initiatives
• Ensuring compliance with employment legislation and industrial instruments
• Analysing people data and providing insights to support decision-making

About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Previous experience in a HR Business Partner, HR Advisor or similar role
• Strong knowledge of employment legislation and contemporary HR practices
• Proven ability to build trusted relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
• Excellent communication, coaching and problem-solving skills
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline.
