We are seeking a highly organised and creative professional to lead the planning and delivery of a significant staff conference and awards event taking place in December.
Working with a respected Northern Rivers not-for-profit organisation, you'll play a key role in designing and delivering an engaging all-day conference program and evening awards ceremony for approximately 400 attendees.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys managing multiple moving parts, working collaboratively with stakeholders, and creating memorable event experiences from concept through to delivery.
About the Role Commencing immediately, you will initially work approximately 3 days per week, increasing to full-time hours in the weeks leading up to the event as required.
With the venue, accommodation and travel logistics already secured, your focus will be on designing and coordinating the event experience, including:
- Developing and coordinating the conference agenda and event program
- Identifying, sourcing and securing keynote speakers
- Coordinating presenters, speakers and stakeholders
- Supporting the development of MC scripts and event run sheets
- Planning and delivering the evening awards ceremony
- Managing event timelines, communications and logistics
- Coordinating suppliers and ensuring all event elements are delivered seamlessly
- Working closely with a small working party of five key stakeholders
- Overseeing event delivery and troubleshooting on the day
About You To be successful in this role, you'll bring:
- Demonstrated experience coordinating and delivering events
- Strong project management and organisational skills
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication abilities
- Experience working with speakers, presenters and event programs
- The ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach
- Confidence working both independently and collaboratively
Experience delivering conferences, staff events, awards nights or large-scale corporate events will be highly regarded.
