Our client is a highly regarded community service provider seeking an experienced
Practice Implementation Lead to join their team on a fixed-term contract. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on practice professional who can work alongside frontline teams to strengthen practice, build capability, and embed critical risk and safety frameworks across service delivery.
This role is not about sitting behind a desk developing policies. It's about being in the practice, coaching, mentoring and supporting case managers and team leaders to confidently apply frameworks that keep children, young people and families safe.
About the RoleWorking closely with operational leaders and a team of approximately 12 Case Managers, you will help ensure key practice frameworks are consistently understood, applied and embedded across daily service delivery.
You will provide practical guidance, coaching and case-based support to strengthen risk assessment, decision-making and intervention practices.
Key priorities include:
- Embedding the Safe & Together™ Model into everyday practice
- Supporting implementation of the Safe Side mental health and risk framework
- Strengthening risk assessment and intervention approaches across child and family services
- Coaching Team Leaders and Case Managers through complex cases
- Identifying practice gaps and opportunities for continuous improvement
- Supporting safe, effective and efficient service delivery outcomes
- Walking alongside frontline practitioners to build confidence and capability
- Promoting strong child safety and risk management practices
About YouYou are an experienced practitioner who understands both frontline case management and operational service delivery. You have credibility with teams because you've worked in complex environments and can demonstrate how best-practice frameworks translate into real-world situations.
You may currently be working as a:
- Practice Leader
- Senior Practitioner
- Team Leader
- Senior Case Manager
- Clinical or Practice Specialist
Most importantly, you will bring:
- Demonstrated experience implementing or embedding the Safe & Together™ Model (essential)
- Strong understanding of child safety, risk assessment and family intervention practices
- Experience coaching and developing frontline practitioners
- Confidence working through complex cases and identifying risks
- A collaborative, hands-on approach to practice improvement
- Experience within community services, child and family services, youth justice, government or related sectors
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
QualificationsRelevant tertiary qualifications in:
- Social Work
- Human Services
- Behavioural or Social Sciences
- Community Services
- Psychology
- Or a related discipline
