We are seeking a compassionate, motivated, and experienced Initial Assessment & Planning Worker to join a dedicated homelessness support team providing frontline assistance to individuals and families experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, person-centred environment and is passionate about supporting vulnerable members of the community through trauma-informed practice.
This is a full-time fixed-term position for an initial 6-month period, with the possibility of extension dependent on government funding outcomes.
About the Role:
As the Initial Assessment & Planning Worker, you will provide immediate support, assessment and short-term intervention to people experiencing housing crisis and homelessness. You will work collaboratively with internal teams and external services to ensure clients are connected to appropriate supports and pathways to safe housing.
