About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to assist with the the full end-to-end payroll function on a fortnightly basis. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you’ll be responsible for ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timely payments — all while supporting a caring and community-focused workplace.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the processing of fortnightly payroll for approximately 200 staff
• Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with relevant awards and legislation
• Manage leave accruals, terminations, superannuation, and payroll reporting
• Liaise with internal departments and external providers (e.g., ATO, super funds)
• Continuously improve payroll processes and maintain up-to-date systems knowledge

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in a similar payroll role
• Strong knowledge of payroll systems and relevant employment legislation
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Empathetic and professional communicator 
• Ability to work autonomously and manage deadlines confidently
