About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Finance Officer to join our Finance Team, with a key focus on Accounts Payable (AP). This is a critical role in ensuring our financial operations run smoothly and our suppliers are paid accurately and on time.

This is a permanent, full-time (or part-time negotiable) role based at our Tweed Heads office, with flexible work arrangements available.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-end processing of accounts payable, including matching, batching, coding and data entry of supplier invoices
• Ensuring accurate and timely payments to suppliers, staff and other stakeholders
• Managing the accounts payable inbox and responding to supplier queries
• Reconciling supplier statements and assisting with month-end processes
• Supporting the broader finance team with other transactional and administrative tasks as required
• Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with organisational policies

About You

• Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting systems (e.g., Xero, MYOB, or similar)
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented approach
• Ability to manage time and prioritise effectively
• Experience in the not-for-profit or community sector (desirable but not essential)
