Are you a seasoned financial leader passionate about driving strategic impact in the not-for-profit sector? We are seeking a temporary full-time Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our client's values-driven organisation in Tweed Heads, with the flexibility of a hybrid work arrangement.
Our client is a highly respected not-for-profit community organisation committed to delivering multi-service programs across health, housing, disability, and social impact sectors.
The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the Executive Leadership Team and Board, the CFO will:
Lead and mentor a high-performing finance team.
Drive strategic financial planning and sustainability.
Ensure robust financial governance, compliance, and reporting across diverse revenue streams (NDIS, grants, fee-for-service).
Oversee asset management, particularly across community housing operations.
Champion digital transformation of financial systems and tools.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Shape and execute financial strategies that align with our mission.
Financial Management: Lead budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and compliance (ACNC, ATO, NDIS Commission).
Grants & Funding Oversight: Monitor and report on multiple funding sources and lead grant acquittals.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with housing and sector-specific regulatory frameworks.
