About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Operations Manager to join a well-regarded not-for-profit organisation in Tweed Heads on a temporary full-time basis. This position is available for an immediate start and will run through to 30 June 2025, with the possibility of extension depending on funding and organisational needs.

This is a pivotal role where you’ll ensure the smooth day-to-day running of operations, support staff across programs, and drive continuous improvement in service delivery. You’ll work closely with senior leadership and play a key role in helping the organisation deliver vital services to the community.

Key Responsibilities

• Work alongside the Executive Manager Operations to oversee daily operational functions across multiple service areas
• Assist with the management staff rosters, resources, and operational planning
• Implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulations
• Support internal reporting and performance monitoring
• Liaise with internal stakeholders, partners, and government bodies
• Travel within NSW as required to support regional teams and initiatives

About You
To succeed in this role, you will be a confident leader with a strong operations background, ideally within the not-for-profit, community services, or health sectors. You will have a collaborative approach, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a genuine commitment to making a difference.

Essential Criteria:

• Proven experience in NDIS operations, service delivery, or program management.
• Strong people leadership and communication skills
• Ability to adapt quickly and work independently
• Experience working in or with not-for-profit or community organisations
• Willingness and ability to travel within NSW
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (essential)
• Current driver’s licence
