Commercial Business Manager – Sports Facilities

About the Role:

As the Commercial Business Manager, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing team, optimising financial performance, and enhancing customer experiences across multiple sports and aquatic facilities. You will oversee daily operations, strategic planning, budgeting, and business development, ensuring facilities run efficiently while delivering exceptional service to the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the commercial operations of multiple sports facilities, ensuring financial sustainability and operational efficiency.
• Drive business development, maximising revenue opportunities through programs, partnerships, and strategic initiatives.
• Monitor budgets, financial performance, and KPIs to ensure targets are met.
• Oversee customer service excellence, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive environment for all visitors.
• Manage facility bookings, events, and programs to optimise space utilisation.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety, risk management, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best-practice standards.
• Lead and mentor a team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, user groups, and the local community.
