About The Role

We are seeking a motivated individual to coordinate Supported Independent Living and Community operations, ensuring exceptional support aligned with the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and maintain relationships with new and existing participants, families, and stakeholders through open communication.
• Undertake new participant sign ups, risk assessments, support calculators in line with the onboarding procedure.
• Support the participant and families through the application processes internally and externally to ensure comprehension of agreements and support care plans.
• Engage with support coordinators, participants, and family members to facilitate quality supports.
• Engage in regular feedback and check-ins with participants.
• Assist with rostering where required and ensure that client needs can be met prior to commencement of services. 
• You will ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of the participant is prioritised, maintained and managed across all accesses to support services.
• Use a person-centred approach to identify and resolve issues.
• Perform various administrative duties.

About You:

• Experience in supporting the setup of new services in residential settings.
• Solid knowledge of the disability sector, NDIS funding, SIL quotes, and the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework.
• Ideally you will have knowledge of DVA however this is not essential.
• Experience in coordinating support services and working with diverse teams.
• Openness to new ideas and approaches to problem-solving.
• Strong customer focus, understanding customer perspectives.
• Effective communication, promoting organisational values.
• Proficient in planning and prioritising tasks.
• High-level administrative skills, including proficiency with Microsoft programs.
