About the Role:
  
As the Chief Finance Officer, you will be pivotal in shaping the organisation’s financial strategy and ensuring long-term sustainability. This is a senior leadership position where you’ll have the opportunity to develop and execute innovative financial plans, lead a high-performing team, and influence decision-making at the executive level. Key Responsibilities:
  

• Design and implement a robust financial strategy that aligns with the organisation’s overall goals and drives long-term sustainability.
• Lead and inspire a high-performing Finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Provide strategic advice and actionable insights to the Executive Leadership Team, supporting critical decision-making with clear and concise financial analysis.
• Oversee the preparation and delivery of accurate budgets, forecasts, and performance reports, ensuring they meet organisational and legislative standards.
• Drive innovation in financial systems and reporting processes, introducing new tools and technologies to improve efficiency and transparency.
• Identify financial risks and implement effective mitigation strategies to safeguard the organisation’s operations and resources.
• Represent the organisation in engagements with key stakeholders, partners, and industry networks, leveraging insights to inform strategic financial decisions.
• Ensure compliance with governance, risk management, and reporting frameworks, maintaining the highest standards of integrity and accountability.
• Develop policies and procedures to streamline financial operations and enhance decision-making capabilities across the organisation.
• Deliver insights through trend analysis, performance dashboards, and proactive identification of financial anomalies, enabling timely interventions and strategic planning.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce or equivalent (Postgraduate qualifications highly regarded).
• CA or CPA qualified.
• Extensive experience in financial strategy and leadership roles.
• Familiarity with financial governance frameworks, risk management, and financial reporting standards.
