About the Role

As the National Manager, you will oversee the delivery of critical services, including the Aged Care Assessment Program, Residential Aged Care Funding Assessment System, and Care Finder Services. Your leadership will ensure these programs are delivered effectively, meeting contractual, organisational, and sector standards.

You will lead and empower a dedicated assessment and navigation workforce, fostering collaboration across teams and aligning operations with the organisation’s strategic vision. The role requires a proactive approach to quality improvement, clinical governance, and workforce planning while maintaining a client-focused and sustainable model of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership to ensure excellence in program delivery.
• Manage compliance with funding agreements, legislation, and organisational policies.
• Oversee clinical governance and professional development frameworks.
• Lead a remote team, driving engagement, performance, and quality outcomes.
• Foster relationships with stakeholders to support client and community success.
• Ensure programs are audit-ready and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Essential Criteria

• Tertiary qualification with current AHPRA registration (e.g., Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist) or eligibility for AASW membership as a Social Worker.
• Proven experience managing national or multi-regional mobile care planning or assessment services.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of building positive workplace cultures.
• Demonstrated success in meeting contractual KPIs and achieving quality client outcomes.
• Expertise in strategic planning, financial management, and data-driven decision-making.
• Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with risk management practices.
• Willingness to travel interstate as required.

Desirable:

• Additional qualifications in Business, Leadership, or Human Resources.
• 5+ years of frontline management experience in aged care or community care settings.
