Production Manager – Lead the Future of Sustainable Innovation

The Role:

As the Production Manager, you will report to the Head of Supply Chain and play a vital role in ensuring smooth manufacturing operations. This includes managing internal and external teams, coordinating resources, and driving continuous improvements across production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Planning and Coordination

• Develop and implement production schedules aligned with forecasts and operational requirements.
• Work closely with supply chain teams to ensure timely availability of materials and components.
• Manage external suppliers to meet production orders in full and on time.
• Provide weekly reporting on production performance and identify potential risks.

Team Leadership and Development

• Lead, mentor, and inspire the production team to achieve high performance.
• Oversee recruitment, training, and development to build a capable and adaptable workforce.
• Conduct regular team meetings and reviews to ensure alignment with organisational goals.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the introduction of new products.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Address production-related challenges to maintain seamless operations.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify and implement opportunities to enhance processes and increase productivity.
• Drive operational excellence through innovative solutions and cost reduction initiatives.

About You:

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Production Management, Engineering, Operations, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years’ experience in a similar production management role within manufacturing or operations.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong organisational and planning skills.
• Proficiency in production systems and tools, preferably Unleashed and MS 365.
• A proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
