One of Melbourne’s highly regarded automotive dealer groups is seeking an accomplished General Sales Manager to lead its New and Pre-Owned Vehicle Sales operations at Eclipse Ford in Sebastopol Ballarat.
This opportunity is ideal for a proven senior sales leader who is currently performing at a high level and open to a strategic career move within a well-resourced, performance-driven organisation.
  
The Role
Reporting directly to executive leadership, you will assume full ownership of New and Pre-Owned vehicle sales performance for a high-volume, market-leading brand based in the west of Melbourne. You will be trusted to drive commercial results, refine sales strategy and lead a high-calibre team in a professional, accountable and customer-focused environment.

Remuneration & Benefits

• $90,000 base salary + superannuation
• Company vehicle or car allowance 
• Uncapped commissions
• On-target earnings of $250,000 plus

Key Accountabilities

• End-to-end leadership of New and Pre-Owned Vehicle Sales
• Delivery of volume, gross and profitability outcomes aligned to business objectives
• Strategic inventory management and optimisation of stock turn
• Leadership, mentoring and development of sales management and consulting teams
• Achievement of manufacturer standards, KPIs and reporting requirements
• Continuous improvement of sales processes and customer experience
• Close collaboration with Finance & Insurance and Aftermarket leadership
• Relationship management with OEM representatives and key internal stakeholders

 About You

• Currently operating in a senior automotive sales leadership role
• Proven ability to lead teams in high-performance, target-driven environments
• Strong commercial acumen with disciplined execution
• Professional, calm and respected leadership style
