We’re seeking a Level 1 Support Technician to be the first point of contact for technical enquiries and to assist with hardware, logistics, and installation support across a range of safety and fleet technology platforms.
This is a hands-on, office-based role suited to someone who enjoys problem-solving, learning new systems, and helping customers and colleagues succeed.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide friendly, professional Level 1 technical support via phone, email, and ticketing systems
- Troubleshoot basic hardware, software, connectivity, and installation issues
- Escalate more complex issues to senior technicians when required
- Assist with hardware setup, provisioning, RMAs, and logistics coordination
- Support SIM/M2M activations, usage monitoring, and platform checks
- Monitor devices and systems and assist with routine reporting
- Work closely with internal teams including Installations, Client Experience, Accounts, and Product
- Keep documentation and installer records accurate and up to date
What We’re Looking For - Certificate III in ICT or equivalent hands-on experience
- At least 6 months’ experience in a technical support or helpdesk role
- A solid understanding of PCs, basic networking, and device connectivity
- Clear, confident communication and strong customer service skills
- Good organisation and the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Genuine interest in technology and learning new tools and systems
Nice to Have (but not essential):
- Linux (CLI or desktop experience)
- Salesforce or CRM platforms
- CAN Bus, telematics, or vehicle electrics knowledge
Working Arrangements
Hours: Monday–Thursday: 8:30am–5:00pm Friday: 8:30am–4:00pm
Location: Burleigh Heads, QLD
Travel: Occasional, as required
