Our client is a well-established wholesale supplier to the sports, outdoors and fitness markets in New Zealand. The team is professional and hardworking. They are looking for a switched-on Accounts Manager who is comfortable working in a fast paced, dynamic and busy environment. You will work closely with the General Manager to manage all accounting functions of the business. The system used is Accredo. Duties include:
Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Reconciliations
Debtor management and credit control
Monthly roll over and reporting
Preparation of financial statements, including end of year, prepare financial and operational reports
Complete and submit GST
FX purchases and payments
Maintaining accurate stock records, sales and stock reporting
Annual stock takes and financial year roll over
To be successful you must have:
Excellent understanding of accounting processes and interpreting financial data
Experience with stock (receipting and purchasing processes and reporting)
High attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent computer skills, particularly excel, outlook and accounting software (ideally Accredo)
Professionalism and the ability to work autonomously
Confidentiality in handling sensitive information
