Our client is an established and successful supplier of commercial and industrial LED lighting solutions across NZ and Australia. They are looking for an Accountant to step in and support the Albany team for the next few months whilst they recruit the permanent role, which will be based in Tauranga. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this is a hands on temp role (no direct reports) where you'll be responsible for:

• Managing the monthly financial & management reporting
• Product costing and margin analysis
• Financial administration; AP/AR, purchase orders, bank reconciliations
• Audit and taxation functions of the business
• IRD obligations (GST, PAYE)
• Payroll (Smartly)
• Cash flow management
• Credit Control

Ideal candidate will have:

• Degree qualified with minimum 3 years experience within a commercial accounting environment
• Advanced Excel
• Up to date payroll knowledge
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Self motivation with proven analytical and forecasting skills
• Dependability and deadline driven

You'll be comfortable using inventory management software and working in a hands on accounting role.  This is a great temp opportunity which offers autonomy working within a technology driven team who are passionate about the design and manufacturing of LED lighting on a commercial scale.
