Our client is a family-owned and operated distributor of scientific equipment and consumables. A newly created role, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of the Albany-based warehouse and the timely delivery of products to their valued customer base.
Key Responsibilities:
Overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, processing, storing, picking, packing and dispatching goods
Ensure accurate inventory management and timely order fulfilment
Stock management and stock takes
Analyse and review freight costs
Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the warehouse
Daily operational tasks and clear team communication
The successful applicant will have:
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
The ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
Excellent communication and attention to detail
Experience in warehouse and 3PL operations is an advantage as is a Dangerous Goods certificate (training will be provided)
