Production Operator | Fife | Permanent | circa £26,000
 
A well-established and growing manufacturing business is recruiting a Production Operator to join their production team. You'll be producing precision electronic assemblies to exacting customer specifications, working within a quality driven environment where attention to detail and technical accuracy aren't negotiable.


What You'll Be Doing

• Read and interpret detailed manufacturing documents to specification
• Operate hand crimp tools and perform electronic soldering to defined standards
• Use precision hand tools for intricate electronic work and assembly finishing
• Work with specialised equipment: microscopes, heat guns, insulation stripping tools, job specific jigs
• Conduct in process inspection to ensure quality at every stage
• Occasionally work on site at customer facilities to support specific projects

You'll work within strict manufacturing procedures where quality and timescales matter. This isn't about ticking boxes, it's about understanding why precision matters and taking responsibility for delivering assemblies that meet exact requirements.


What We're Looking For  

• 2 to 3 years' experience in a similar manufacturing environment
• Good manual dexterity and reliable eyesight
• Accurate colour identification skills
• Detail oriented approach and methodical working style
