What The Role Actually Involves
 
This is a hands-on workshop role combining manual turning with CNC machining, plus general support across the shop floor when required.
 
You'll be trusted to:
 

• Carry out manual turning and CNC machining of precision components
• Work confidently from engineering drawings
• Assemble, inspect and finish parts to high quality standards
• Maintain machines and support wider workshop activities
• Work closely with colleagues to meet production schedules

 
It suits someone who enjoys getting stuck in, takes pride in quality, and doesn't hide behind job titles.

You'll likely be a good fit if you:
 

• Have strong manual turning experience (essential)
• Have a good CNC machining background
• Communicate well and work naturally as part of a team
• Manage time, quality and safety without supervision
• Are comfortable using basic Microsoft Office tools
• Are flexible when overtime is required
