We're recruiting for a long-established sub-contract manufacturing business with over 30 years' experience. What The Role Actually Involves
 
You'll be programming, setting and running 3 & 5 axis machining centres, producing precision components from a range of steels and alloys. Work is varied, tolerances are tight, and quality matters.
 
This is a hands-on role where you're trusted to:
 

• Take jobs from drawing through to finished component
• Work confidently with FANUC controls
• Machine complex parts accurately and consistently
• Spot issues early and take pride in getting things right first time

 
There's a strong quality culture here — not paperwork for the sake of it, just doing the job properly.
 
 
What They're Looking For

You'll likely be a good fit if you:
 

• Are time-served (or equivalent) in CNC machining
• Have solid experience as a CNC Miller in a sub-contract or precision environment
• Are comfortable programming, setting and operating CNC mills
• Have experience with 3 & 5 axis machines
• Can read engineering drawings without needing hand-holding
• Take pride in accuracy, finish and consistency
