We are delighted to be recruiting for our client, a leading provider of engineering solutions to various industries including Automotive, Energy & Industrial. They are committed to delivering high-quality parts and components through a dedication to excellence.


The Role
You will be responsible for setting, programming (Fanuc) and operating lathes to produce components to a high standard in the most efficient / cost effective manner. You will ensure that information is transferred between shifts and team members as required, be committed to continuous improvement and suggest improvements regarding methods, processes and tooling.

Specific responsibilities will also include:

• Preparing & loading raw materials and parts onto the machines.
• Preparing test runs to check that outputs are to specification.
• Setting machines to fabricate a large number of parts.
• Inspect and measure finished products.

 
The Candidate
This position will suit someone with excellent knowledge of interpreting engineering drawings and experience of using Fanuc controls. Specific experience should include tool selection, cutting tool parameters, setting and operating a range of CNC machine tools.
 
The hours for this role will be:
 
7.30am - 4.30pm (Monday to Thursday)
7.30am - 12.30pm (Friday)
