Product Engineer | Fife | Permanent | Attractive Salary (Depending on Experience)
 
Are you an experienced Product Engineer with an electro-mechanical background, ready to take on complex challenges and see your ideas come to life?
 
We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading global manufacturing company based in Fife, who are looking to add a skilled engineer to their growing team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be involved in full lifecycle product development — from initial concept and design through to costings, customer interaction, and delivery.
 
 
What You’ll Be Doing

• Creating accurate cost, delivery, and technical proposals for customer quotations
• Providing technical support to production teams, sales teams, and external clients
• Designing and evaluating mechanical products and assessing feasibility
• Selecting components and suppliers for use in custom-built systems
• Planning and organising projects, ensuring they remain on track
• Acting as the main technical point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
• Representing the company in development projects with customers

 
What You’ll Need

• HND or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or similar)
• Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor or other 3D CAD software (preferred)
• Strong project management skills and the ability to deliver under pressure
• A creative and analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills
• Confident communicator able to engage clients and colleagues alike
