Quality Inspector – Precision Engineering | North Lanarkshire | Permanent | £35k - £43k
 
We are looking for a detail-driven Quality Inspector with a strong background in precision engineering. Our client is a well-established manufacturer in the sub-contract engineering sector who are looking to add a skilled Inspector to their team in North Lanarkshire.
 
Operating in a high-mix, low-volume environment, the business works on complex components requiring tight tolerances and the highest quality standards. You’ll play a key role in ensuring quality is upheld across all manufacturing operations.
 

The Role
 

• Carrying out first-off, final, and in-process inspections using CMM and manual inspection tools
• Programming and operating CMMs (PCDMIS & Mitutoyo experience preferred)
• Managing non-conformance reporting and supporting root cause analysis activities
• Reviewing FAIRs and verifying compliance with AS9100 and customer standards
• Working collaboratively with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues

 
 
What You’ll Need
 

• 2+ years' experience in a similar Quality Inspector role in a precision engineering environment
• Proficiency with manual inspection tools and handheld metrology equipment
• Confidence reading complex engineering drawings and process sheets
• CMM programming experience (preferred, but training may be considered)

 
 
Shifts

• Weekly rotation of Days (Mon–Fri), Backs (Mon–Fri), and Nights (Sun–Thu)
