Sales Estimator | Ayrshire | Permanent | circa £41,000
 
We’re looking for an experienced Sales Estimator with a strong commercial mindset to join our client’s team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for preparing competitive bids, working closely with clients to understand their needs, and identifying opportunities to drive business growth.
 
As a Sales Estimator, you’ll play a key role in driving business growth by preparing and reviewing complex quotations for customers in the Oil & Gas and other industrial sectors. Working from customer drawings and specifications, you’ll ensure all bids are both cost-effective and technically compliant. You’ll also act as the main point of contact for your designated accounts, fostering strong, long-term relationships and identifying new business opportunities.
 
 
What You’ll Do:
 

• Maintain and develop positive relationships with key clients
• Prepare and submit competitive, accurate quotations
• Collaborate with internal teams across multiple sites to construct bids
• Conduct technical contract reviews and negotiate new contracts
• Support diversification into new markets and industries
• Represent the company in field sales activities and customer meetings

• Experience in a Sales/Commercial role within the Oil & Gas industry (or similar)
• Strong negotiation and customer service skills
• Ability to work from technical drawings and specifications
• Excellent communication, planning, and time management abilities
