Are you an experienced procurement professional with a passion for renewable energy? A leading company in the renewables sector is seeking a Procurement Lead to drive its global sourcing strategy and optimise supply chain operations.
 
 
About the Role
 
As a Procurement Lead, you will be at the forefront of securing critical components for innovative renewable energy solutions, including wind, solar, and hybrid systems. You will collaborate closely with engineering, production, and finance teams to ensure supply chain resilience, cost efficiency, and supplier excellence.
 
 
Key Responsibilities
 

• Develop and implement a strategic procurement plan aligned with business goals.
• Identify and onboard international suppliers to enhance supply chain diversity.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to ensure cost-effective sourcing.
• Manage supplier relationships and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor market trends and proactively mitigate supply chain risks.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and sustainability standards.

• Proven experience in procurement within the renewable energy, engineering, or manufacturing sectors.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Experience in global supplier management and cost optimisation.
• Proficiency in procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Ariba).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Relevant qualifications in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Business (CIPS or APICS certification desirable).
