Applications Engineer | Glasgow | Permanent | circa £30k - £45k (DoE)

A well-established, innovative manufacturing company near Glasgow is looking for a talented Applications Engineer to join its team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially focussed engineer to work with advanced, globally renowned products that reduce manufacturing defects, helping Tier 1 clients worldwide achieve high standards in quality.
 
 
Key responsibilities include offering product advice, identifying market opportunities, and collaborating with R&D and production teams to refine products. You’ll also gather customer feedback and play an active role in the business planning process.
 
 
Ideal applicants will have a passion for product innovation, a proactive mindset, and a desire to travel internationally. Full training is provided, with the potential for further study.
Specifically, you should:
 

• Have a relevant engineering degree (e.g. Mechanical, Electronic).
• Have experience in product development.
• Be a confident communicator.
• Be proactive and self-motivated.
• Be comfortable challenging the status quo.
• Thrive working in a fast-moving environment where flexibility and agility are key.
• Have some experience working in a product team.
• A passion for products and international travel!
