Product Specialist | Glasgow | Permanent | circa £30k - £50k (DoE)

A well-established, innovative manufacturing company near Glasgow is looking for a talented Product Specialist to join its commercial team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially focussed engineer to work with advanced, globally renowned products that reduce manufacturing defects, helping Tier 1 clients worldwide achieve high standards in quality.
 
 
The successful candidate will be a product champion, offering key technical support to customers and colleagues alike. Responsibilities include leading product training, assisting in product launches, and contributing to the business planning process. You’ll also help identify opportunities for new product development and enhancements.
 
 
Ideal applicants will have a passion for product innovation, a proactive mindset, and a desire to travel internationally. Full training is provided, with the potential for further study.
Specifically, you should:
 

• Have a relevant engineering degree (Mechanical, Electronic, Manufacturing).
• Have experience in product development.
• Be a confident communicator.
• Be proactive and self-motivated.
• Be comfortable challenging the status quo.
• Thrive working in a fast-moving environment where flexibility and agility are key.
• Have some experience working in a product team.
• A passion for products and international travel!
