Quality Inspector | Fife | Permanent | £33k - £35k

We are delighted to be working with a genuine industry leader with an exceptional history. They are a specialist engineering company providing manufacturing and maintenance services for customers in various sectors including Marine, Oil & Gas and Energy.

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Inspector to join their team in Fife, working in their manufacturing area, specialising in producing high-quality electrical equipment.

In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining the highest quality standards, ensuring they meet industry regulations and customer specifications. You will be a key player in safeguarding their reputation for excellence with clients across the globe.
 
 
Key Responsibilities:
 

• Develop and implement quality control procedures for inspection at various production stages
• Conduct detailed inspections of materials, production processes, and finished products
• Prepare and maintain thorough documentation, reports, and non-conformance logs
• Investigate defects and implement corrective actions through root cause analysis
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support compliance with industry standards
• Evaluate and manage supplier quality

 
Qualifications:
 

• HNC in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
• Experience in a QA/QC role within manufacturing or repair
• Proficient in using Micrometers, reading technical documents, and problem-solving
• Experience with ISO 9001 and relevant standards like IEEE, NEMA
