About the Role
The Client Services Officer 6-month fixed term role within ALS Environmental NZ includes developing existing and new business within the environmental clients in Hamilton, NZ. You will be required to assist and be part of a dynamic team striving to support their requirements.
The day to day
- Develop and maintain high quality relationships with new and existing clients.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal clients to ensure that all projects are communicated and acted upon in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensure all client queries are resolved in a timely and accurate manner, provide feedback and follow up as required.
- Preparing quotations and assisting in the preparation of tenders and Expressions of interest (EOI).
- Preparation of monthly service reports for major clients and projects.
- Actively marketing the services of ALS through phone, email, onsite and offsite client interaction.
- Preparation for and attending relevant conferences, promoting ALS at trade exhibitions and liaising
- with clients.
- Assisting clients with appropriate method selection and offering technical guidance.
- Following up on client invoice queries.
- Organising client sample container orders.
- Assisting in the preparation and distribution of promotional material
- Organising client sample pickups.
- Prioritisation and monitoring of ‘managed’ projects through the laboratory.
- Daily liaison with clients according to client/project requirements.
