ALS Environmental Division operates a modern laboratory at Ruakura Research Centre in Hamilton that is equipped with the latest in analytical technology. The division is seeking an experienced Laboratory Technician to become a part of the Environmental team that strives to exceed customer expectations by delivering quality results on time and by maintaining strong relationships with their clients. This is a permanent position with the full-time hours Monday to Friday.
The day to day
- Preparing samples and carrying out testing in a
- Calibration and maintenance of lab equipment and instrumentation.
- Performing housekeeping duties as required.
- Perform media production and stock control as required.
- Organising designated tasks to maximise daily efficiencies.
- Ensuring that analytical procedures and associated tasks are conducted in accordance with the ALS Quality Systems.
- Working in fast paced environment with deadlines
The Essentials - Excellent organisational skills and good attention to detail
- Strong focus on Quality
- Good chemical knowledge
- Entry level or 1 year’s relevant experience (a degree or diploma Tafe preferred)
