About the Role:
Join our ALS Water team in Scoresby as a Sample Receipt Triage and play a key role in ensuring the smooth handling of samples. Your responsibilities will include greeting couriers and customers, accurately triaging and prioritizing samples, organizing them in the cool room, and maintaining storage areas. You'll also assist with additional tasks as directed by the Team Leader.
This role is Monday-Friday, 10:30 - 6:30pm, with flexibility appreciated as shift times may change in the future.
Qualifications or experience in science is not required, but an interest to learn is key. Ideally, we are looking to commence the role 10th June.

The Day-to-Day
Responsibilities of the Sample Receipt Triage is responsible for:
- Reception duties – greeting couriers, customers and ALS Samplers delivering samples.
- Triaging samples accurately and promptly, ensuring that urgent samples are prioritised.
- Placing samples in the cool room in the appropriate order after they have been logged.
- Maintaining sample fridge and other esky store areas.
- Other duties as requested by the Team Leader relating to this position.
The Essentials The Sample Receipt Triage should possess:
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Good communication skills.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Ability to absorb and retain high levels of information.
- Be a team player who enjoys working within a group environment.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Must be physically fit, some heavy lifting required.
