Precise is a leading provider of Asbestos testing, OHS, and Hazmat services, with a successful and growing team Nationally. We are looking for an experienced individual to join our well-established, unique team based in Wellington. This role is ideal for an energetic and passionate person who thrives in a hands-on environment.
Primary duties include but not limited to:
- Perform asbestos air monitoring and clearance inspections
- Asbestos register reviews and generation
- Perform methamphetamine testing and reporting
- Develop, implement, and evaluate risk management policies and programs
- Technical reporting of risk mitigation and management strategies
- Perform asbestos/HAZMAT surveys
Must have the ability to: - Climb ladders and scaffold
- Work with mask and suit on, in small enclosures
- Proficient in using Microsoft word and software/app-based programs
- Be flexible with working hours and weekends occasionally
- Work autonomously in the field and effectively within a team environment
- Travel from time to time if required
Desired qualifications/skills - At least 1-3 years of relevant experience
- BOHS IP402, IP404 or International equivalent desirable
- Asbestos Assessor Licence or equivalent qualification that would allow you to complete works as a qualified person and obtain a licence
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A tertiary qualification in environmental science, work health and safety, occupational hygiene or related field desirable
- An understanding of WHS, consulting and risk management

Eligibility
To be eligible to work at Precise you must be an New Zealand or Australian Permanent Resident.
Note that for this role a valid full driver's licence and excellent driving history is mandatory.
