The role
Are you passionate about sustainability and workforce data? This is a 12-month fixed-term role offering a unique opportunity to play a key role in shaping how ALS reports on workforce-related topics under the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).
This role is suited for someone who has strong data collection, written and stakeholder engagement skills and has experience navigating large complex organisations effectively. To succeed in the role, you'll need to be tenacious to chase HR managers when site locations are not reporting data on time and escalating to senior management if we are not meeting reporting deadlines.
As a global company we're open to a suitable candidate being based at any of our major global sites.
The day to day
- Lead the reporting process to ensure compliance with workforce standard European Sustainability Reporting Standard S1 (comprising of 17 sub-standards and 200 data topics).
- Work with Regional Directors to gather quarterly data and metrics on critical topics, such as DEI, wages, disabilities, workforce demographics, and more.
- Write clear, compelling disclosure statements that showcase our HR practices and ensure compliance with reporting requirements.
- Work closely with the Sustainability team to align HR reporting with broader sustainability goals.
- Develop Policies that demonstrate our commitment to workforce standards.
The Essentials - Strong understanding of our business and the ability to engage effectively with Regional Directors and other stakeholders.
- Excellent writing skills to create disclosure statements that reflect our practices and values.
- Experience with data collection, analysis, and reporting on workforce topics.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work across teams to achieve shared goals.
