About the RoleThe Client Services Officer role within ALS Environmental includes developing existing and new business within the environmental clients. You will be required to assist and be part of a dynamic team working to strive for our clients’ requirements and client services.
The day to dayThe Client Services Officer is responsible for:
- Develop and maintain high quality relationships with new and existing clients.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal clients to ensure that all projects are communicated and acted upon in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensure all client queries are resolved in a timely and accurate manner, provide feedback and follow up as required.
- Preparing quotations and assisting in the preparation of tenders and Expressions of interest (EOI).
- Preparation of monthly service reports for major clients and projects.
- Actively marketing the services of ALS through phone, email, onsite and offsite client interaction.
- Preparation for and attending relevant conferences, promoting ALS at trade exhibitions and liaising with clients.
- Assisting clients with appropriate method selection and offering technical guidance.
- Following up on client invoice queries.
- Organising client sample container orders.
- Assisting in the preparation and distribution of promotional material
- Organising client sample pickups.
- Prioritisation and monitoring of ‘managed’ projects through the laboratory.
- Daily liaison with clients according to client/project requirements.
