About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join our team in Otago. This role offers diverse opportunities across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. You will be an integral part of a skilled construction team, contributing to the fabrication, installation, and maintenance of high-quality metalwork.

What You'll Be Doing

• Reading and interpreting drawings, plans, and specifications to understand project requirements
• Cutting, shaping, and assembling sheet metal components using hand and power tools
• Installing metal roofing, cladding, gutters, flashings, and other architectural elements
• Repairing and maintaining existing sheet metal installations as required
• Collaborating with other tradespeople to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 3 years of relevant sheet metal experience
• Proficiency with sheet metal tools, machinery, and fabrication techniques
• Proven track record of high-quality metalwork in residential, commercial, or industrial projects
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, plans, and specifications
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• A valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation
