About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Waterproofer to join our team in Otago. In this full-time role, you will be applying torch-on waterproofing systems to residential, commercial, and architectural projects. The ideal candidate is experienced, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team, ensuring high-quality and durable installations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply torch-on waterproofing membranes to roofs, decks, and other surfaces for seamless and watertight installations
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning and priming to ensure optimal adhesion of membranes
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet project deadlines
• Conduct inspections to maintain high-quality standards
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment
• Read plans and solve on-site problems effectively
• Lead a team of applicators or work independently as needed
• Willingness to work overtime to meet project targets

Additional Skills (Training can be provided):

• Crack injection
• Screeding
• Intumescent coatings
• Grouts and sealant
• Resin flooring
• Concrete repairs

Required Experience:

• Experienced in torch-on roofing membrane installation
• Knowledge of roofing and below-ground membrane systems
• Strong problem-solving and team leadership skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
