About the Role:
As a Concrete Floor Polisher, you’ll be responsible for surface preparation, grinding, honing, and polishing concrete to produce clean, smooth, and long-lasting finishes. You’ll work with state-of-the-art equipment on various job sites and occasionally apply decorative techniques such as staining or sealing to achieve a desired look.
  
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare concrete surfaces by cleaning and removing coatings, adhesives, and imperfections

• Operate planetary grinders and polishing machinery
• Apply abrasives in progressive stages to achieve a polished finish
• Seal and protect surfaces with densifiers and coatings
• Repair minor surface damage including cracks and chips
• Use decorative treatments such as colour stains or patterns when required
• Maintain equipment and adhere to safety and cleanliness standards
• Provide clients with advice on floor care and maintenance

Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in concrete polishing, grinding, or surface finishing
• Competency with floor polishing equipment and tools
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of finish
• Physically fit and comfortable working in demanding site environments
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Mechanical aptitude is a plus
• Has a reliable transport and NZ drivers licence
