About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Aluminium Joinery Installer to join our Christchurch & Canterbury team. You will be responsible for measuring, fabricating, and installing high-quality aluminium windows, doors, curtain walls, and façade systems across residential and commercial projects.
  
An aluminium joinery installer needs a mix of technical, physical, and practical skills to perform the job safely and effectively. Here's a list of the key skills required:


We're looking for someone that have and can do the following:

• Measuring and layout skills – accurately read plans, take site measurements, and mark out joinery positions.
• Installation knowledge – understand how to install aluminium windows, doors, sliders, and curtain walls according to specifications and building codes.
• Sealing and waterproofing – knowledge of flashing, silicone application, and weatherproofing methods.
• Basic carpentry and fixing – may be needed to prepare openings or trim surrounding structures.
• Glazing – handling and fitting glass panes where required.
• Tool handling – skilled with hand and power tools (drills, riveters, levels, etc.).
• Lifting and handling – ability to safely lift and move heavy aluminium frames and glass.
• Working at heights – comfortable using scaffolding, ladders, and harnesses where required.
• Attention to detail – ensuring neat, level, and aligned finishes.
• Proven track record (3+ years) in aluminium joinery installations (windows, doors, curtain walls) 
• NZ driver’s licence and reliable transport.
• Site Safe & Working‑at‑Heights certifications preferred.
