About the Role:

Are you an experienced drainlayer looking for the next step in your career? We are seeking a Drainlayer Foreman to join our team in Christchurch. This is a full-time opportunity with an immediate start available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install civil drainage systems to a high standard
• Lead and manage a drainage crew and subcontractors
• Ensure projects are completed on time and within scope
• Interpret plans and ensure compliant installation of 3-water drainage networks
• Conduct site assessments and problem-solving on drainage projects
• Maintain health and safety compliance on-site
• Liaise with clients, engineers, and local authorities as required
• Ensure all work meets CCC (Christchurch City Council) standards

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 1 year as Drain Layer foreman experience (or more)
• Mandatory: Class 1 Full License.
• Proven ability to manage teams and oversee drainage projects
• Strong understanding of civil drainage systems and compliance requirements
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work independently and make informed decisions on-site

Beneficial if you have:

• CCC Council Authorized Drainlayer
• Level 3 Water Reticulation certification
• Additional drainage or civil construction licenses/certifications
